October was about enhancing automation and improving team workflows across the Healthie platform. With the launch of AI-powered charting, auto-billing for patient responsibility, and a redesigned Tasks experience, your practice can save hours on administrative work every week.

Introducing AI Scribe: Chart Notes Powered by AI

Document care faster and more accurately with AI Scribe, Healthie’s new AI-powered charting tool. Automatically draft structured, editable chart notes from telehealth sessions — all without leaving the Healthie platform.

AI Scribe transforms spoken conversations into complete chart notes, using your preferred note template. Notes are drafted instantly, giving you full control to review, edit, and approve before saving. Built securely on Healthie’s HIPAA, HITRUST, and ONC-certified infrastructure, AI Scribe helps reduce burnout, improve compliance, and reclaim valuable time for patient care.

Availability: Plus Plan and above, starting at $35/month for 40 hours of scribing time.

Auto-Billing for Copays, Deductibles & Coinsurance

Let Healthie handle patient responsibility — automatically.

Our new auto-billing feature enables your organization to automatically charge or invoice clients for copays, deductibles, and coinsurance linked to insurance-based appointments. Once a visit is marked as occurred, Healthie triggers the appropriate charge or invoice, eliminating manual follow-up and reducing billing delays.

This automation improves cash flow predictability and streamlines post-appointment billing, freeing your staff to focus on clients instead of collections. 

Tasks Redesign: Smarter Collaboration for Teams

The redesigned Tasks feature makes it easier for teams to stay organized and manage responsibilities across the platform.

You can now assign multiple teammates to a task, edit or complete items inline, archive completed work, and bulk-complete recurring tasks — all from a streamlined, modern interface. Updated filters, improved status tracking, and an accurate “My Tasks” count give teams better visibility and control over daily workflows.

These enhancements make collaboration more efficient, helping teams coordinate care and operational tasks with less friction.

A Faster, Clearer Quick Profile

The redesigned Quick Profile provides a single, organized view of essential client details, including IDs, tags, vitals, and insurance information. You can review appointments, update tasks, and make changes inline — all without navigating away from the page.

Pediatric profiles now display exact age (weeks, months, or years) and parent/guardian information, helping teams provide accurate, efficient care.

Beyond the headline features, October also included several workflow and usability enhancements designed to make Healthie even more efficient.

Highlights include: 

  • New Appointment Details Page: All session info, billing, and notes in one view.
  • Organization Calendar Enhancements: Faster navigation, type-ahead search, and cleaner interface.
  • Appointment Request Tracking: Clearer visibility into open and closed requests.
  • Insurance Section Improvements: Simplified navigation with dedicated CMS-1500 and payment tools.
