Q2 2026 Recap: What's New for Your Practice
Healthie's Q2 2026 highlights: Ambient Scribe for in-person sessions, Fullscript labs, Quick Profile clinical data, client billing types, and mobile updates.
Q2 brought dozens of changes aimed squarely at the moments that slow a clinical day down: extra clicks between screens, manual billing overrides, and time spent on notes. These updates add up to fewer interruptions during your day so that you can direct more time to being client-facing and focusing on practice growth.
We know release notes can pile up fast, so we rounded up 5 feature updates that we think matter the most for private practice.
1. Healthie AI Scribe Expanded to In-person & Phone Sessions ✨
AI Scribe's note-generation support has expanded beyond telehealth. A “Launch Ambient Scribe for In-Person Session” prompt now shows up right in appointment details, so you get the same documentation support no matter how a session happens: video, phone, or in-person.
If you're already using AI Scribe, this expansion is live on your account automatically.

2. Fullscript Integration: Now Includes Lab Ordering 🧪
Healthie now integrates with Fullscript Labs to automatically sync lab results directly into patient charts, keeping your practice efficient and your data centralized. This integration delivers the workflow simplicity your team needs to manage labs without extra steps.

3. Medications, Labs, Diagnoses, and Allergies in Quick Profile 👥
Four new clinical components are now available in Quick Profile, so you can check a client's medications, labs, diagnoses, and allergies without leaving the chart, message thread, or care plan you're already in. All four components are off by default.
Turn on only what fits your workflow under Settings > Client Profile > Quick Profile.

4. Self-Pay vs. Insurance Client Designation 💸
You can now set a persistent billing type (Insurance or Self-Pay) right on a client's profile. It overrides your global Appointment Type default automatically, so the correct billing workflow applies every time, without you having to remember to override it. Handy for clients with pending verification, self-pay preferences, or anyone who doesn't fit your standard default.

5. Mobile App Updates: Task Commenting, Video Uploads, and More 📲
Two workflows that used to be web-only are now on iOS and Android: commenting on tasks, and sending video directly in chat. Both sync fully with web, so your team stays on the same page no matter which device they're using.
