🩺 Wearable sync on mobile: gathering health data on-the-go
For practice owners managing clients with chronic conditions or behavior change goals, reliable wearable sync changes how you work.
We rebuilt the health data sync pipeline from the ground up:
- Android now connects through Google Health Connect (Formerly Google Fit)
- Apple Health received updates
Consistent, wearable data in Healthie means you spend less time troubleshooting and more time doing what you're trained to do. When a client's steps, sleep, heart rate, or activity data syncs reliably into their Healthie chart, you can spot patterns earlier, come to sessions better prepared, and make more confident clinical decisions.
Between sessions or on the go, you can review a client's recent wearable activity, send a follow-up message, and keep care moving forward without needing to be at your desk. For clinicians who want to stay connected to their clients without being tied to a desktop, that kind of access makes a real difference.
💊 The feature that changes how you prescribe on the go
E-prescribing is now fully available on mobile - and it changes everything about how you manage medications outside the office.
Providers enrolled in Healthie's E-Rx add-on through DoseSpot can view, add, update, and submit prescriptions directly from the Healthie mobile app. No desktop. No workarounds. No delays.
From a client's profile in the app, you have the full picture: current medications, recorded drug allergies, and active or pending prescriptions - all in one place. Add a new prescription using a diagnosis or ICD-10 code, search by brand or generic name, complete the dispensing order, and send it to the pharmacy. Allergy information syncs automatically between Healthie and DoseSpot, so you're always prescribing with complete clinical context.
For practices where timely medication management is core to care delivery - whether that's functional medicine, psychiatry, or weight management - this removes a real barrier. Clinical decisions don't wait for office hours, and now your prescribing workflow doesn't have to either.
🎯 Goal tracking gets smarter
Keeping goal records accurate across a care team just got easier. The new Goal History view in Healthie gives you a full audit trail of every goal: who created it, who edited it, and when, directly from your mobile device.
For practices with multiple providers or support staff touching the same client record, that visibility matters. You can see exactly how a goal has changed over time, confirm that updates were made correctly, and maintain accurate documentation without needing to be at a desktop.
Goal completions also sync between mobile and web in real time. Update or check off a goal on your phone, and it's reflected immediately on the web - no reconciling required.
📅 Client-facing appointment names
Clients were seeing internal appointment type names instead of the client-friendly names you set. That's now fixed across several key scheduling screens. Cancellation prompts also got a design refresh.
This is a small change with a real impact on client experience - especially for practices with multiple appointment types.
