October was all about access.

Access to your charting workflow, wherever you are, with chart notes now created, signed, and locked from the Healthie mobile app. Access to utilization trends and upcoming availability by provider, so you can see capacity week over week or month over month. Access to the right clients, with new Provider and Group filters that cut the scrolling in a long roster. This month’s releases put what you need within easier reach.

For private practices, that means fewer clicks and less time on admin: charting happens on your phone, the clients you’re looking for are a filter away, and you can see how your schedule is filling up before it becomes a problem.

Read on for the highlights, or dive into the full October 2026 release notes for every update.

Create and edit chart notes on mobile

Providers can now create, edit, sign, and lock chart notes directly from the Healthie iOS and Android app, bringing the full charting workflow to mobile. When a correction is needed, you can add an addendum to a locked note or unlock it with a reason that’s logged to the note’s history. Your existing charting permissions carry over, so there’s nothing to reconfigure. Capabilities are rolling out in phases.

Provider Utilization Dashboard enhancements

The Provider Utilization Dashboard in Visualize now includes a Trended view, so you can compare utilization week over week or month over month. You can also see the appointment counts behind each utilization figure and upcoming availability by provider. New filters for provider status, location, and role help you focus on the providers and locations you’re planning for. You get a clearer view of capacity today and the availability ahead.

Client list provider and group filters

Finding the right clients in a large roster is now faster, with new filters on the Client List:

  • Filter by provider: See clients assigned to one or more selected providers.
  • Filter by group: Focus on clients in one or more selected groups.
  • Combine filters: Use Provider, Group, and Tags together to narrow results in fewer steps.

Filters respect your existing client visibility permissions.

Additional updates

More updates worth knowing about:

  • Zocdoc Referrals: Send clients a direct link to find and book a specialist or primary care appointment on Zocdoc from the client profile, delivered through Chat with no separate follow-up task. It’s available at no cost on all paid plans. Account owners can email hello@gethealthie.com to request access.
  • Prevent Clients from Editing Their Name: A new setting, off by default, locks legal first and last names in the client portal and mobile app. Preferred first name stays editable, and you can still edit client names as usual.
  • Availability Calendar Refresh: The Availability Calendar now matches the Organization Calendar, with a new day view, Today and previous/next navigation, a date picker, and a repositioned timezone filter.
  • Calendar Block Titles: Blocks now show their title on the tile, with a recurrence icon for repeating blocks, so your schedule is easier to read at a glance.

API Updates

All features released this month are also available through the API, and we’re continuing to invest in documentation, SDKs, and webhooks over the coming months.

Do these apply to you? The changes below only matter if you, a developer, or an integration vendor connects to Healthie through the API or webhooks. If not, no action is needed.

Webhook IP address changes: action needed by Friday, November 6

Healthie is migrating from Aptible to AWS, with completion expected in November. If you allowlist Healthie’s IP addresses to receive outgoing webhooks, add the new IPs by Friday, November 6, and keep your existing IPs in place until we confirm the migration is complete. You may notice brief after-hours downtime during the final migration, with timing posted on our status page.

Appointment search complexity scaling

Appointment search queries that include Zoom-related fields and span longer date ranges carry a higher complexity score. Requests over the threshold return a complexity-limit error, and on November 1, 2026, the threshold steps down to searches spanning 6+ months.
