June 2026 Healthie Product Updates
Healthie's June 2026 updates streamline self-pay onboarding, enable per-client program pausing, and add new AI Scribe controls for teams.
June was about removing friction: for clients moving through onboarding, for providers managing care programs, and for teams trying to get more out of AI Scribe. This month's releases reflect a simple idea — every unnecessary step, field, or workaround that slows down care delivery is worth eliminating.
These updates are designed to make Healthie feel lighter and more responsive to the realities of day-to-day clinical work, with less manual reconfiguration, fewer support touchpoints, and more control where it matters.
Read on for the June highlights or dive straight into the full June release notes.
Simplifying self-pay
Unnecessary form fields are a real source of onboarding friction. When a self-pay client hits a screen asking for their Member ID and Group Number, the path forward isn't clear and some clients drop off.
To remedy this, the Insurance Form now opens with a simple question: does the client have insurance? If they select "I don't use insurance," every insurance-specific field (Member ID, Group Number, Relationship to Policyholder, and card uploads) is automatically hidden, and the form can be submitted without them. Self-pay clients move through onboarding without confusion, and your team spends less time fielding questions about incomplete forms.
No configuration required on your end. The update is live and applies automatically to the Insurance Form for all clients.
Pause & resume Programs, per client
Programs don't always match the pace of real life. Clients go on vacation, have medical setbacks, or simply need a break. Before, the only clean way to handle these pauses was to remove and re-enroll clients, which meant lost progress and extra administrative work.
Now you can pause any individual client's program directly from the client list. While paused, auto-release and notifications stop, but the client retains access to everything they've already completed. When you're ready to resume, the program picks up exactly where it left off, with no manual reconfiguration and no re-enrollment needed. The paused status is visible in the client list so your team always knows who's on hold and who isn't.
This update gives care teams the flexibility to handle real-life interruptions gracefully, without disrupting the client's experience or the program's structure.
Greater oversight for AI Scribe
Two updates this month give you greater control over how AI Scribe is being used and how it documents.
Usage Dashboard in Visualize: Admins and Org Owners can now track monthly Scribe minutes usage directly in Healthie's Visualize section. The Scribe Usage dashboard refreshes daily, giving your team a clear view of consumption without needing to contact support.
Form-Level Scribe Instructions: Providers can now set persistent documentation preferences at the form level, directly in the Form Builder. Tone, structure, level of detail, and specialty-specific defaults are configured once and apply automatically every time Scribe generates a note from that form. No re-entering preferences visit after visit.
Together, these updates give both administrators and clinicians more control: one over how Scribe is being consumed across the organization, the other over how it sounds in the chart.
