Healthie's latest update brings automated CMS 1500 claim generation to group chart notes, completing the scheduling-to-billing loop for group sessions the same way it already works for individual appointments. If you've ever booked a group session in Healthie, documented individual notes for each attendee, and then had to manually re-enter billing data into a claim form - that step is gone.

From Appointment to Claim, Without the Manual Work

For individual sessions, Healthie has long supported a seamless end-to-end workflow: you schedule the appointment, document the chart note, and generate a pre-filled CMS 1500 claim - all without leaving the platform or re-entering data. Billing flows directly from what you've already documented.

Group sessions have always had the first two steps covered. Providers could schedule group appointments and chart individual notes for each attendee. But generating a CMS 1500 from those notes required a manual workaround: re-entering CPT codes, units, and fees by hand before the claim could be submitted.

This update closes that gap. Healthie now supports CMS 1500 claim generation directly from individual notes within a group chart note, bringing group session billing fully in line with how individual session billing already works.
