Healthie's Q3 2026 highlights: AI Charting that handles post-visit follow-ups, Zoom built into Healthie, Care Alerts, a PDF Editor, and a new No-Show Dashboard.
In Q3, we focused on the work that happens in and around the session: connecting with clients, following up, documenting, and reducing missed appointments. These updates help your visit workflow run smoothly, so the time you spend outside of sessions can go toward growing your practice.
We shipped a lot this quarter, so we picked the 5 updates we think matter most for practice.
1. AI Charting goes beyond the note ✨
AI Charting now includes AI Encounter Summaries and AI Scribe Tasks, at no added cost. Along with AI Scribe, it now covers the note, the summary, and the follow-ups from the same session.
AI Encounter Summaries
When you lock a chart note, AI Encounter Summaries creates a short, editable summary of the visit.

AI Scribe Tasks
When an appointment ends, AI Scribe Tasks drafts your follow-ups, like referrals, lab orders, and prescription changes. They appear in your task list with a "Generated by AI" label, so you can review and edit them like any other task.
How it helps your practice: With notes, summaries, and follow-ups ready when a session ends, your clinicians finish the day with less catch-up work. That means more time for clients, more room to grow your schedules, and follow-ups that go out while the visit is still fresh.
2. Zoom Visits, Right Inside Healthie 🎥
You and your clients can now join Zoom visits directly in Healthie, with your charting tools visible the whole time. You choose your default video call setting, so you can switch to the embedded experience when it suits you. Your existing Zoom links and notifications stay the same.
Live translated captions are also available in 36 languages. Each participant picks their own caption language with no extra setup.
How it helps your practice: Sessions feel more seamless for you and your clients, with everything in one place from the first minute. Translated captions open your practice to clients who speak other languages which can help you reach and serve more people in your community.

3. Care Alerts 🚩
Pin an important flag to a client's profile, like an allergy, a billing note, or a reminder before their next session. Alerts also appear in Quick Profile, so you see them wherever you're working. You can mark them high priority, set an expiration date, and require acknowledgment before anyone continues.
How it helps your practice: Everyone on your team sees the same important context at the right moment, so clients feel known and cared for at every touchpoint. For growing practices, it makes it easier to onboard new staff and keep things consistent as your team expands.
4. Healthie PDF Editor 📝
Annotate, highlight, and e-sign PDFs without leaving Healthie. It's useful for school notes, FMLA paperwork, and accommodation letters. Save drafts as you go, then publish and share with a client when you're ready.
How it helps your practice: Paperwork gets done in one place and in less time, so clients get their forms faster and you get minutes back throughout your week. Every edit is tracked, which keeps your records organized.
5. No-Show Dashboard 📊
See your practice’s no-show rate, total no-shows, and the revenue impact in one view, refreshed hourly. Break it down by appointment type, visit format, and confirmation status to spot patterns, or export the data for your own reports.
