Zus Health
Surfaces a patient's aggregated health history — conditions, medications, and encounters — from outside providers directly inside their Healthie profile. No manual chart-chasing required.
Built by Core Engineering
The problem it solves
Providers lack a complete view of a patient's health history across care settings. Fragmented records force patients to repeat their history at every visit and put clinicians at risk of missing critical context.
What's included
- Always-on embedded Zus Aggregated Profile (ZAP) panel in the patient chart (not just on-demand)
- Bi-directional sync — Healthie pushes appointment, demographic, and observation updates to Zus via webhooks
- Aggregated history across 70K+ provider sites and 270M+ patients via Commonwell/Carequality
- De-duplicated records you can dismiss, mark as viewed, or reconcile into your own problem list
- On-demand "Request Records" pulls per patient (NPI required, ~24–48 hour turnaround)
How it works
Customer contracts with Zus directly alongside a paid Healthie plan; Zus and Healthie then jointly enable the integration for the organization. Once enabled, the Zus Aggregated Profile (ZAP) renders as an always-on embedded panel in the patient chart, authenticated via a Zus proxy token tied to the organization's Zus builder ID. Data flows in both directions: Healthie automatically syncs updates — including appointments, demographics, and clinical observations — out to Zus via webhooks as they occur, while a longitudinal CCDA is pulled into Healthie during each patient's initial sync. Providers can also trigger an on-demand "Request Records" pull (NPI required) for a fresh data refresh from connected networks, typically returning in 24–48 hours.
Zus aggregates a patient's clinical history from outside networks and surfaces it directly inside Healthie's Client Overview. It's built for practices that need visibility into care delivered elsewhere, and requires both a paid Healthie plan and an active Zus contract. Providers see de-duplicated conditions, medications, and a chronological encounter timeline, and can trigger an on-demand records pull for a specific patient. Data also flows the other direction — Healthie syncs appointment and clinical updates out to Zus automatically.
