The problem it solves
Clients booking online with a group practice are often choosing between several providers with only a name to go on, which can create hesitation and abandoned bookings. Provider Bios solves this by surfacing each provider's background and approach right at the point of choice, so clients can book with confidence instead of picking blind.

How it works
An admin adds or edits a provider's bio from Organization > Members, selecting the [...] menu for that member and choosing Edit Settings, then scrolling to the Provider Information section to add their NPI number, licensed states, credentials, and bio. Once saved, the bio automatically appears on the organization's scheduling page. When a client reaches the Select Provider step of booking, they can click the dropdown arrow next to a provider's name to expand and read their bio before choosing. Bios display only on accounts with more than one provider; single-provider accounts skip the provider-selection step entirely, so no bio is shown.

The bio editor supports bold, italics, underline, and hyperlinks to external sites. If an account has only one provider, the provider-selection step is skipped and no bio appears.
