Organization Member Permissions Templates
Save a set of permissions as a reusable template, then apply it to new or existing team members instead of configuring each one individually. Only admins can create, edit, or apply templates, and each template designates members as Standard or Support, with Standard providers eligible for scheduling and payment association. Particularly useful for onboarding, and for standardizing permissions across sub-organizations.

The problem it solves
Manually re-configuring the same combination of permissions for every new team member with a similar role wastes time and risks inconsistency across an organization. Permissions Templates solve this by letting admins define that combination once and apply it repeatedly, including to existing members whose access needs to be brought in line.
What's included
- Named, reusable permission templates covering Standard or Support role configuration
- Provider designation within a Standard template, controlling scheduling and payment eligibility
- Admin-only creation, editing, and application of templates
- Applicability to both new team members and existing ones
- Usable at Sub-Organization creation to standardize permissions across a parent/sub-org structure
How it works
An admin navigates to Settings > Organization > Members > Create Permissions Template, names the template, and configures its role type (Standard or Support) and associated permissions. When adding a new team member, or editing an existing one, the admin can apply a saved template from a dropdown instead of setting permissions individually; template changes made afterward don't retroactively update members who already had an earlier version of the template applied. In Parent/Sub-Organization setups, permission templates created at the Parent level can be applied to Sub-Organizations at the time of their creation to standardize access across the structure.
Organization Member Permissions Templates let admins save a named set of permissions and role settings, then apply that template to new or existing team members instead of configuring each one from scratch. It's built for organizations onboarding multiple similar team members, or standardizing access across sub-organizations, where manually replicating the same permission set for every new hire doesn't scale. Only admin users can create, edit, or apply templates; other team members have no ability to manage them. A template designates whether members using it are Standard or Support, and whether a Standard role should also be marked as a provider, which determines if they can be scheduled for appointments and associated with client payments.
