Save any medication, compound, or supply prescription as a reusable Favorite, or group multiple favorites into an Order Set to prescribe them all at once. Favorites and Order Sets speed up repetitive prescribing by pre-filling saved details instead of starting from scratch each time. Proxy members and prescribing agents can view but not create or edit another provider's favorites.

The problem it solves
Re-entering the same medication, compound, or supply details every time a provider writes a common prescription wastes time across a busy caseload. Favorites and Order Sets solve this by saving those details once and making them instantly reusable, including as a bundled set for prescriptions that are always written together.

How it works
While completing a prescription, a provider clicks the star icon next to Save As Favorite at the final step, enters a nickname, and saves; adding an asterisk to the nickname saves it as a Master Favorite. To build an Order Set, a provider searches for and adds multiple medications, supplies, or compounds into the Order Set Items section, then saves the group as a single reusable favorite. Favorites and Order Sets can be managed centrally from the Favorites section of the prescribing flow, where existing items can be edited or removed, or new ones added directly. Proxy members and prescribing agents can see and select from Clinic Favorites and On Behalf Of Favorites when placing an order, but cannot create, edit, or add new favorites themselves.
Prescription Favorites and Order Sets let providers save prescription details for reuse, either as a single saved item or as an Order Set bundling several favorites together to prescribe in one click. It's built for prescribers who write the same medication, compound, or supply order repeatedly and want to skip re-entering the same details each time. A Favorite is created at the final step of the standard prescribing flow, saving whatever medication, compound, or supply details were entered under a chosen nickname; prefixing the nickname with an asterisk saves it as a Master Favorite. Proxy users and prescribing agents can view Clinic Favorites and On Behalf Of Favorites, but cannot create, edit, or add favorites on a provider's behalf; only the provider can manage their own "My Favorites."
