E-Rx and Medication Management on Mobile
Manage a client's medications from the Healthie mobile app, viewing active and previously recorded medications directly from their profile and adding or updating entries on the go. Extends core E-Rx and medication-tracking functionality beyond desktop, so prescribing-adjacent tasks can happen in short windows between sessions. Keeps medication records connected to the same patient chart regardless of which device was used to update them.

The problem it solves
Clinicians who only have mobile access in the moment, between sessions or away from their desk, previously couldn't review or update a client's medication information without waiting until they were back at a computer. This solves that by bringing core medication management into the mobile app, so records stay current without adding a desktop-only bottleneck.
What's included
- View active and previously recorded medications directly from a client's mobile profile
- Add or update medications from the mobile app
- Medication changes stay connected to the same patient record used on desktop
- Reduced context switching for prescribing-adjacent tasks between sessions
How it works
A clinician opens a client's profile within the Healthie mobile app and navigates to the Medications section, where active and previously recorded medications display the same way they would on desktop. From there, the clinician can add a new medication entry or update an existing one; any changes sync to the same underlying patient record, so documentation stays consistent whether it was last updated on mobile or desktop.
E-Rx and Medication Management on Mobile extends Healthie's medication tracking and E-Rx-adjacent functionality to the mobile app, so clinicians aren't limited to a desktop browser to review or update a client's medications. It's built for providers who want to handle prescribing-adjacent tasks, like checking a client's active medications or logging an update, in short windows between sessions rather than batching everything for later at a desktop. From a client's profile in the mobile app, a clinician can view active and previously recorded medications and add or update entries, with changes staying connected to the same patient record used on desktop. This reduces context switching and keeps medication documentation consistent regardless of which device a provider used.
