The problem it solves
Chart notes that require a supervisor's co-signature need a reliable way to notify that specific supervisor, but without automation, the handoff from provider to supervisor depends on the provider remembering to reach out directly.
What's included
- Automatic check when a provider names a co-signer in a chart note field
- Supervisor identified via an organization membership search
- High-priority task created for the supervisor, linked to the note
How it works
Trigger: a provider fills in the co-signer field on a chart note. Steps: look up the named supervisor via an organization membership search, and create a high-priority task assigned to them, linking to the note that needs a co-signature.
Chart Note Co-Sign Task automatically creates a task for the correct supervisor as soon as a provider names them as the required co-signer on a chart note. It's built for practices with supervision or co-signature requirements, and requires the Charting and Automate modules. The provider enters the supervisor's name into a charting field, the automation looks up that person via an organization membership search, and creates a high-priority task assigned to them with a link to the note.
