Appointment Statuses
Control which appointment statuses (like Checked-In and Late Cancellation) are active on your account, shown on the calendar, and included in reports. Core statuses — Occurred, Cancelled, No Show, Rescheduled — stay on by default. Turning off a status also disables any automation tied to it, like automatic late-cancellation charges.

The problem it solves
Not every practice uses every appointment status Healthie offers, and having unused statuses cluttering the calendar and reports makes it harder to get clean, relevant data. Appointment Statuses solves this by letting admins limit which statuses are active, tailoring calendar and report views without losing the core scheduling statuses everyone needs.
What's included
- Toggle for enabling or disabling the Checked-In status
- Toggle for enabling or disabling the Late Cancellation status
- Core statuses (Occurred, Cancelled, No Show, Rescheduled) always active by default
- Automatic deactivation of any automation tied to a disabled status
- Status data reflected in the Appointments Report for filtering and analysis
How it works
An admin navigates to Settings > Appointments > Appointment Statuses and clicks Edit to view the supported statuses. Checked-In and Late Cancellation can be turned on or off; the other core statuses remain on by default. Only enabled statuses appear on the calendar, in reports, and in related workflows. Turning off a status also disables any automation tied to that status — for example, disabling Late Cancellation deactivates the automatic charge configured for late-cancelled appointments.
Appointment Statuses lets admins control which statuses appear on the calendar, in reports, and in related automations. Core statuses — Occurred, Cancelled, No Show, and Rescheduled — remain active by default to avoid disrupting existing workflows, while Checked-In and Late Cancellation can be turned on or off. It's built for organizations that want calendar and report data to reflect only the statuses relevant to their workflow. Disabling a status also deactivates any automation tied to it, so turning off Late Cancellation, for example, will stop the automatic late-cancellation charge from firing.
