Apple Calendar
Automatically pushes every Healthie appointment to your Apple Calendar, so your personal schedule always reflects your practice bookings. Set it up once as a calendar subscription and appointments stay in sync going forward with no manual entry required.

The problem it solves
Providers who keep their primary schedule in Apple Calendar have no way to see Healthie appointments alongside personal commitments without manually re-entering them. Because Apple Calendar can't be checked automatically by Healthie's booking engine unless synced, double-booking risk falls entirely on the provider's manual vigilance.
What's included
- One-way calendar subscription pushing Healthie appointments into Apple Calendar
- Auto-generated subscription URL from Healthie's Calendar settings
- Appointment Type shown in place of client name for HIPAA compliance
- Configurable refresh interval (daily minimum, 5–15 minutes recommended)
- Sub-calendar bridging via Google Calendar to pull Apple events back into Healthie
How it works
Navigate to Settings > Calendar > External Sync in Healthie and select Apple. Healthie generates a subscription URL. In Apple Calendar, go to File > New Calendar Subscription, paste the URL, name the calendar (e.g. "Healthie Calendar"), and set the refresh rate to at least daily (5–15 minutes recommended). Once subscribed, every Healthie appointment appears as an event showing only the Appointment Type, never the client's name. Because sync is one-way, to also pull Apple Calendar events into Healthie, connect a Google Calendar and make the relevant Apple sub-calendar public so it can be added to Google Calendar, which then feeds into Healthie.
Apple Calendar sync pushes every appointment booked in Healthie into a subscribed calendar on a provider's Mac, iPhone, or iPad, so their personal schedule reflects practice bookings automatically. It's built for providers who manage their day-to-day schedule primarily in Apple Calendar and want one view of availability without checking two systems. Setup happens in Healthie's Calendar settings, where a provider generates a subscription URL that gets added to Apple Calendar as a new calendar subscription. The sync is one-way — appointments flow from Healthie to Apple Calendar only, so events created directly in Apple Calendar won't block Healthie availability unless bridged through Google Calendar.
