300 Ways to Customize Healthie for Differentiated Care Delivery
Healthie's Product Catalog is live: 300 extensions, configurations, automations, integrations, and AI tools to build a care model that fits how you work.
The gap between how a care organization wants to operate and what its software actually allows is one of the most expensive inefficiencies in healthcare, and one of the least talked about.
Specialty outpatient organizations are solving genuinely complex, specific problems, and the infrastructure question has always been the constraint.
How do you build operations, care delivery workflows, and patient experiences that actually fit your model, without the engineering resources to build from scratch, and without a platform flexible enough to bend to your needs?
The healthcare market has shifted in ways that make this question more urgent. AI-enabled services alone no longer signal differentiation, not when every platform has an AI scribe and every pitch deck leads with automation. What moves the needle now, what actually shows up in patient retention, in margin, in clinical outcomes, is infrastructure shaped around how your care needs to actually be delivered.
Which platform you build on determines how much of your team's time goes toward differentiation and how much goes toward working around infrastructure that wasn't designed for you. The care delivery organizations finding success aren't necessarily the ones with the biggest funding or the most features. They're the ones who picked a lane, a specific patient population, a specific clinical approach, a specific service model, and built infrastructure that supports exactly that.
That's why we built the Healthie Product Catalog, and why we're surfacing it now.
For ten years, our Solutions Engineering & Core Engineering teams have been building alongside our customers: custom configurations, specialty-specific automations, integration deployments, and headless builds that have helped launch and scale hundreds of care delivery organizations across behavioral health, nutrition, women's health, longevity, and more. Most of that work has never been fully visible externally.
The Catalog changes that. It's a browseable, growing library of everything you can configure, extend, automate, integrate, and build on Healthie. Not a list of features, but a menu of real, deployable capabilities organized by specialty, use case, and type, so any organization can see exactly what's possible and start building toward it.
Those 300 items span five layers:
↔️ Extensions
Embeddable UI components, API access, and SDKs that let your engineering team build a fully custom patient portal, provider dashboard, or branded mobile experience entirely on Healthie infrastructure. Your brand. Your interface. Healthie running underneath.
⚙️ Configurations
Specialty-specific settings bundles that shape the platform to a particular care model without requiring any engineering. A behavioral health practice configuring a Mental Health Carve-Out for insurance billing. An eating disorder program toggling on the one-click Eating Disorder Settings that restricts which patient-facing metrics clients see, a level of clinical nuance that has to be designed in, not bolted on. A nutrition group pulling in a ready-made intake, assessment, and documentation form library instead of building it from scratch.
⚡ Automations
Rules-based workflows that run consistently behind the scenes: automated PHQ-9 and GAD-7 screenings that deliver on schedule, score automatically, and alert the care team the moment a score crosses a clinical threshold. CMS 1500 claims generated without manual entry. Appointment reminder sequences that run without anyone managing them. The repetitive work that currently lives in someone's head or on a sticky note, systematized.
🤖 AI & Agents
Judgment-based tools for tasks that a static workflow can't handle. AI Scribe turns a provider-patient session into a structured, editable chart note and full transcript in minutes, across telehealth, in-person, and phone visits, without leaving the platform.
🧩 Integrations
75+ connections to the tools your stack already includes, from eRx networks to lab ordering to payer clearinghouses, plus a growing set of partner-built connections through Healthie Harbor, our integrations layer.
The best way to understand what the Catalog makes possible is to look at the organizations already building on it.
Emora Health, a pediatric and adolescent behavioral health platform, built their entire patient and clinician experience directly on Healthie's API. Their patients and providers never see Healthie's interface at all, Emora built the last mile specific to their population entirely from scratch, on top of Healthie's compliance infrastructure, clinical workflows, and billing rails.
The result: a 9-person internal team supporting more than 500 clinicians, 7x appointment volume growth in 2025, and a 4.94/5 patient rating across more than 5,000 surveys. Robin Anil, Emora’s CTO, put it plainly: because Healthie handles the infrastructure, his next five hires can focus entirely on growth engineering, CX engineering, and marketing engineering, the things that actually differentiate Emora in the market.
That's the headless end of the spectrum. But extensibility isn't only for teams with dedicated engineering. A behavioral health practice running Healthie's native interface, using the PHQ-9/GAD-7 screening configuration and automated billing workflows, is building on Healthie's extensibility just as meaningfully, from a different point on the same spectrum. The Catalog is designed to serve both. The organizations that want a great out-of-the-box platform and those that need to build entirely custom experiences on top of it are the same customer at different stages, using the same foundation.
The Catalog isn't a roadmap or a statement of intent. It's an inventory of what's deployable today.
Extensibility is the capacity of a platform to blend into a care model, rather than requiring the care model to conform to the platform. It's how a care delivery organization earns the differentiation the market now requires, and sustains it as it scales.
We built Healthie to be built on. The Catalog is the proof.
