The problem it solves
Providers on the same team often need access to the same reference material or templates, but without an internal sharing option, each person would need their own copy or rely on sending files outside of Healthie. This solves that by letting one person upload a resource once and make it visible to the whole team from within the same Documents library used for client-facing sharing.

How it works
A provider locates a resource or folder in Documents, opens its Share settings, and toggles on sharing with organization members, then saves; sharing happens asynchronously, with a confirmation banner displayed once complete. While the organization-wide toggle is on, individual members can't be selectively unshared from that resource; the toggle needs to be turned off first to manage sharing member by member. Shared resources appear in every current team member's own Documents library for reference or use with clients.
This lets providers share documents and folders from their Documents library with other members of their organization, in addition to (or instead of) sharing with clients. It's built for group practices that want a central hub of resources, like templates, reference material, or shared paperwork, that every team member can access without re-uploading their own copy. Once a resource is shared with the organization, it's accessible to every current member; if a specific member is removed from the organization-wide share, that toggle must be turned off first before individual sharing controls become available again.
