Programs
Build and automatically distribute a structured course of videos, documents, emails, and scored surveys to clients over a set cadence of days or weeks. Run it as a Fixed Start program so a cohort moves through it together, or Rolling Start so each client begins on their own schedule. Sell access through a Healthie package, or offer it for free to build long-term engagement.

The problem it solves
Providers who want to deliver structured education, like a wellness challenge or a multi-week curriculum, have no way to schedule that content to release automatically over time without manually sending each piece to every client. Programs solves this by letting a provider build the full content sequence once and have it delivered on a schedule, to one client or an entire group at a time.
What's included
- Modules combining videos, documents, emails, and auto-scored surveys or quizzes, released on a set schedule
- Fixed Start (whole cohort on the same schedule) or Rolling Start (each client on their own timeline) enrollment
- Automatic enrollment when a client purchases a package that includes the program, plus a library of pre-built program templates (e.g., a CDC Diabetes Prevention Program curriculum) available on request
- Per-client and per-module progress tracking, including form-response exports and one-click "nudge" reminders
- Per-client pause and resume, freezing auto-release and notifications while preserving completed content, with paused status visible in the client list
How it works
A provider creates a program from Dashboard > Programs, chooses Fixed Start (a single release schedule for every enrolled client) or Rolling Start (each client's schedule begins on their own enrollment date), and builds out modules by day, adding videos, documents, emails, or forms to each. Videos are added by linking a YouTube or Vimeo URL (the video must not be set to private); forms and quizzes are built in Healthie's Form Builder first, then attached to a module for the client to complete when it releases. To distribute a program, a provider either adds clients or groups to it directly, sets it free or paid inside a client package so purchasing the package automatically enrolls the client, or shares it with colleagues in their organization to reuse. Clients see enrolled programs from their Client Portal or mobile app, with each module's release date and completion status visible; email modules can only be viewed from a web browser, not the app. From Dashboard > Programs, a provider can view each client's module-by-module completion status, download all form responses for a program as a CSV, and send a one-off "nudge" email reminding a client to complete their next module. A provider can also pause any individual client's program directly from the client list; while paused, auto-release and notifications stop, but the client keeps access to everything already completed, and the paused status is visible in the client list. Resuming picks the program back up exactly where it left off, with no re-enrollment or manual reconfiguration needed.
Programs let providers build and distribute a structured course of content to clients over days, weeks, or months, mixing videos, documents, emails, and scored surveys or quizzes into modules. It's for providers who want to deliver longitudinal education or a wellness challenge to individual clients or entire groups, rather than sharing everything in a single session. Each program is set up as Fixed Start, releasing the same module schedule to a whole cohort at once, or Rolling Start, letting clients begin on their own timeline whenever they enroll. Programs can be offered for free or sold through a Healthie package, which automatically enrolls the client on purchase.
