Mighty Networks

Run Mighty Networks, a community and membership platform, alongside Healthie for an added layer of member engagement. Since Mighty Networks doesn't offer a public API, there's no direct data integration or sync between the two. Customers on Healthie's full web white-label can add a client portal tab linking to their community, and set up Single Sign-On if they connect their own identity provider to both platforms.

The problem it solves

Practices that want to layer community and membership engagement, discussion forums, groups, courses, on top of their clinical care in Healthie don't have a native community feature built for that purpose. Running Mighty Networks alongside Healthie, tied together through the web white-label, gives clients a more unified experience without requiring a true data integration that Mighty Networks' lack of a public API would prevent anyway.

What's included

  • Client portal tab (any custom label, e.g., "Mighty Networks" or "Forum") linking out to a Mighty Networks community, available on Healthie's full web white-label
  • Single Sign-On between Healthie's white-label and Mighty Networks, when a customer connects their own identity provider (IDP) to both
  • No direct data sync or API-based integration, since Mighty Networks doesn't offer a public API

How it works

A customer must be on Healthie's full web white-label to connect the two platforms in any way. To add a navigation tab, the customer configures a custom tab in their white-label settings labeled however they'd like (e.g., "Mighty Networks" or "Forum") that links out to their Mighty Networks community. For Single Sign-On, the customer connects their own identity provider (IDP) to both the Healthie white-label and Mighty Networks; Healthie can then integrate logins between the two so clients don't need separate credentials. Because Mighty Networks doesn't expose a public API, there's no way to sync client records, content, or activity between the two platforms directly, and Healthie doesn't offer a Zapier-based workaround since Zapier isn't HIPAA compliant.

Mighty Networks is a third-party community and membership platform some Healthie customers run alongside Healthie to add another layer of member engagement. There's no direct data integration between the two, since Mighty Networks doesn't offer a public API, so client records and content don't sync between platforms. Customers on Healthie's full web white-label can still tie the two together in two ways: adding a client-facing tab (labeled "Mighty Networks," "Forum," or any name of their choosing) that links out to their Mighty Networks community, and setting up Single Sign-On if the customer connects their own identity provider (IDP) to both Healthie's white-label and Mighty Networks. Healthie doesn't integrate with Zapier as a workaround either, since Zapier isn't HIPAA compliant.
