Message Blast

Send the same chat message to multiple clients at once, with each client seeing it as an individual, personalized message rather than a visible group broadcast. Each blast creates a new conversation thread per client, and replies stay private to that one client. Only reaches clients who have chat enabled, and is processed through a background sending queue.

The problem it solves

Reaching many clients at once with the same update, like a promotion or a policy change, without a broadcast tool means sending the same message manually to each client one at a time. Message Blast solves this by sending the message to everyone at once while preserving the appearance and privacy of an individual, one-on-one conversation for each recipient.

What's included

  • One-to-many message sending, appearing as an individual message to each recipient
  • New, separate conversation thread created per client for each blast
  • Private, non-cross-visible replies within each recipient's own thread
  • Background delivery queue for large blasts
  • Delivery limited to clients with chat enabled on their account

How it works

A provider starts a new conversation, selects the desired clients, and chooses Message Blast as the conversation type before typing and sending the message. Each recipient gets a new, individual conversation thread containing that message, and receives a notification that they have a new chat message, though the notification email itself doesn't include the message text, to preserve privacy. Clients can reply within their own thread, but those replies are never visible to other blast recipients, and clients cannot send a message blast themselves. Sent blasts are processed through a background queue, so a large blast may take a bit longer to fully deliver, and messages only reach clients who have chat enabled on their account.

Message Blast lets a provider send the same chat message to multiple clients at once, with each client experiencing it as an individual, personalized message rather than a visible group broadcast. It's built for outreach at scale, like announcing a promotion, a policy update, or checking in en masse, without clients knowing the same message went to anyone else. Each blast creates a brand-new conversation thread per client rather than adding to an existing chat thread, and clients can reply, but only within their own individual thread, never visible to other recipients.
