Inventory Management (Products)

Track products your practice sells, like supplements, lab kits, wearables, or digital items, with a running quantity count or an "unlimited" setting. Add products to a Client Package for clients to purchase, and inventory automatically deducts as packages sell. Currently, products can only be sold through packages, not added directly to an invoice.

The problem it solves

Practices selling physical or digital products alongside their services have no way to track stock levels or losses without a separate system, and risk overselling items they don't actually have on hand. Inventory Management solves this by keeping a running, centralized count of every product, automatically deducted as packages sell.

What's included

  • Unlimited product entries on a dedicated Products page under Billing
  • Price setting per product, or a Free designation
  • Quantity tracking per product, or an "Unlimited" inventory setting
  • Automatic inventory deduction when a client purchases a package containing the product
  • Enterprise-plan bulk CSV import for migrating an existing product list

How it works

An admin with the "Can add, edit and delete product" permission navigates to Billing > Products to add a new item, setting its name, price (or Free), and either a specific quantity or Unlimited. The product name will be visible to clients if it's included in a package, so it should be named accordingly. To make it purchasable, the product is added to a Client Package; when a client buys that package, Healthie automatically deducts the quantity from the product's inventory count. Products currently cannot be added directly to an invoice; to invoice a client for a product outside of a package, it must be added as an "Other" line item and the inventory quantity adjusted manually. Enterprise accounts migrating a large existing product catalog can request a one-time bulk import by submitting a Data Import Request form and CSV to Healthie's team.

Inventory Management lets practices add and track products they sell, whether physical items like supplements and wearables or digital items like eBooks, from a dedicated Products page. It's built for practices that want an accurate, centralized log of stock levels to avoid monetary or product losses, rather than tracking inventory manually. Each product can be given a price (or marked free) and either a specific quantity limit or set to "unlimited" if stock isn't a concern. Products are made purchasable by adding them to a Client Package; when a client buys that package, the product's quantity automatically deducts from inventory, though Healthie doesn't handle actual shipping or delivery of the physical item.
