Evexia
Online lab ordering platform for LabCorp and specialty labs.
Built by Partner
The problem it solves
Functional and integrative medicine providers often need specialty labs that standard clearinghouses don't offer, which pushes lab ordering into a separate system outside the EHR. That parallel workflow makes it easy for results to go untracked or disconnected from the rest of a client's chart.
What's included
- LabCorp and Access Medical results delivered into Healthie as a PDF in a client's Documents section
- Internal notification when new results arrive, so providers don't need to check manually
- Provider control over whether a result is shared with the client or kept internal
- Access to Evexia's lab test directory and custom panel builder for ordering, managed entirely in Evexia
- Automatic population of client name and date of birth from Healthie into orders, when those Smart Fields are captured on intake
How it works
A provider places a lab order for a client directly inside Evexia, selecting a lab or panel from Evexia's test directory and a phlebotomy option. Evexia handles billing and payment for the order outside of Healthie. When results are ready, Evexia sends them into Healthie as a PDF, filed under the client's Documents in a folder called "Evexia Lab Results," and the provider gets an internal notification. Results are provider-only by default; the provider can share the document from Client Profile > Charting > View Documents to make it visible to the client.
Evexia connects a separate Evexia Diagnostics lab-ordering account to Healthie, sending LabCorp and Access Medical results back into a client's Healthie chart as a PDF once they're ready. It's for functional and integrative medicine providers who want access to Evexia's lab test directory, and it requires an active Evexia subscription alongside a Healthie account, since lab ordering itself happens entirely in Evexia. Providers place orders, choose a phlebotomy option, and select self-pay or client billing inside Evexia; Healthie only receives the finished results, not the order or payment details. Evexia can currently send results from LabCorp and Access Medical into Healthie, but not from its other specialty lab partners, even though those labs can be ordered through Evexia directly.
