Allergy data syncs between Healthie and DoseSpot, so allergies entered in either system are reflected in the interaction check. As a provider builds a new prescription in DoseSpot, the system checks the selected medication against the client's active medications and documented allergies, both of which are kept in sync between Healthie and DoseSpot. If a potential drug-drug or drug-allergy interaction is found, a warning displays before the prescription is finalized, giving the provider the chance to review and decide whether to proceed, adjust the order, or select an alternative medication.
