E-Labs via Client Packages (Physician Network Labs)
Add specific lab tests or panels from Quest, LabCorp, or Bioreference to a Client Package, so clients can purchase and complete labs cash-pay without your practice needing a direct lab vendor account. Orders are reviewed and signed off by a physician network Healthie contracts with, so no physician is required on staff. Not available for clients in AZ, NY, NJ, or RI, or to clients under 18, and each package can only include tests from a single lab vendor.

The problem it solves
Practices that want to offer lab testing but don't have their own lab vendor account, or aren't physicians themselves, would otherwise have no way to order and fulfill labs for clients. This solves that by routing the order through a physician network Healthie already contracts with, and selling it through the same Client Packages mechanism used for other services.

How it works
A provider builds a Client Package and, from the Labs section, searches for and adds one or more lab tests or a lab panel, choosing tests from a single lab vendor per package; pricing for the package automatically reflects the fixed lab costs and order fees. Once the package is created, a Labs tab appears in the provider's main navigation. A client purchases the package cash-pay through a sharing link, embed, or Healthie's client-facing package discovery; a brand-new client's purchase automatically creates their Healthie account. After purchase, the client receives a confirmation email with their lab requisition number and a second email to schedule their draw appointment at a nearby Quest, LabCorp, or Bioreference site; scheduling starts with a Lab Order Consent Form. The contracted physician network reviews and signs off on the order, and results return to both the provider and client within Healthie's Labs tab, with the reviewing physician flagging any abnormal values.
This lets practices without their own Quest, LabCorp, or Bioreference vendor account still offer lab testing, by adding specific lab tests or panels to a Client Package and selling them cash-pay. A package can only include lab tests from a single vendor, and once purchased, the lab is ordered a single time; reordering requires the client to purchase the package again. This path is cash-pay only, since labs sold through packages aren't processed via insurance, and it isn't available to clients in Arizona, New York, New Jersey, or Rhode Island due to state regulations, or to clients under 18.
