Practices that use a scored instrument outside Healthie's built-in assessments have no way to build their own auto-totaling form, and would otherwise have to calculate scores manually from each client's raw answers. Auto-Scored Assessments & Quizzes solves this by automatically summing the relevant question responses into a total score the moment a form is submitted, and optionally feeding that score into a trackable metric.

How it works
A provider designs the form's questions in the Form Builder, assigning each answer choice a numeric value (e.g., "Yes" = 0, "No" = 1); building the actual auto-scoring logic requires submitting a request to Healthie's support team, since this isn't a self-service toggle. Once configured, the form sums the values of the client's responses into a total score whenever it's completed. The form can be distributed one-time or on a recurring basis, the same way any intake form is requested. If the form is linked to a Custom Metric, each completed submission's total automatically creates or updates an entry for that metric, making the score available for trending and graphing over time.
