Q2 2026 Product Recap
See what Healthie shipped in Q2 2026 — AI Scribe for in-person care, new clinical dashboards, and billing automation built for proactive, longitudinal care at scale.
Q2 2026 turned Q1's foundations into sharper tools for the day-to-day: better intelligence on where time and revenue go, more configuration in the hands of each organization, and a charting workspace that keeps clinical context one click closer.
Across clinical workflows, data intelligence, billing, AI documentation, and platform administration, we shipped a steady stream of operational upgrades, many of them giving organizations more control to configure Healthie around how they actually operate, rather than the other way around. It's a continuation of the 2026 Product Vision's core commitment: proactive, longitudinal care delivered at scale, on a platform built to flex to each organization's model of care.
Below is a look at what shipped in April, May, and June. You can view and follow our roadmap anytime in Healthie's Product Portal.
1. Intelligence by Healthie: Scribe Expands to In-Person Care, and Gets More Manageable
In our 2026 Product Vision, we committed to more robust, customizable AI Scribe workflows shaped by real provider feedback. Q1 opened the beta for in-person Ambient Scribe, Q2 took it from beta to broad availability and gave admins the tools to manage it at scale.
✅ Ambient Scribe for In-Person & Phone Sessions
Automatic note generation now extends to in-person and phone appointments, not just telehealth. A “Launch Ambient Scribe for In-Person Session” prompt appears directly within appointment details, so providers spend less time on documentation regardless of how care is delivered.
✅ Scribe Usage Visibility and Customization
Two updates give organizations more control over how Scribe is used across their team:
- Admins and Org Owners can track monthly Scribe minutes usage in a new Visualize dashboard, refreshed daily, turning AI adoption from a black box into a measurable line item
- Providers can set form-level Scribe instructions, so tone, structure, and documentation style apply automatically every time Scribe generates a note from that form, without re-specifying preferences session to session
Scribe's expansion from telehealth to in-person to phone, and now to usage reporting and per-form customization, is exactly the throughline the 2026 Vision laid out: AI that's native to clinical workflows and adaptable to how teams actually work, not a bolt-on feature.
2. Clinical Workflows: Metrics, Privacy, and Context Inside the Chart
Q2 brought clinical context closer to where providers already work, and gave organizations the configuration to set user permissioning.
✅ New Quick Profile Components: Medications, Labs, Diagnoses, Allergies
Building directly on the Quick Profile foundation introduced in Q1, four new clinical components are now available. Org owners can configure which components appear via Settings > Quick Profile, putting the most relevant patient information front and center without ever leaving the chart, message thread, or care plan already in progress.
✅ Patient Metrics Inside the Charting Interface
Providers can now view a patient's full metrics history without leaving their chart. The new Metrics tab in Quick Profile displays all configured patient metrics as interactive line graphs, with search, date filtering, and hover-to-inspect data points, keeping clinical context front and center during live sessions.
✅ Patient Restrictions for Enhanced Privacy Controls
Organizations now have an additional, configurable layer of access control over sensitive patient records. When enabled, team members who aren't on a patient's Care Team must enter a reason before viewing that patient's information, creating a clear audit trail aligned with each organization's own privacy policies.
Together, these updates mean a provider can pull up medications, labs, diagnoses, allergies, and metrics history in the same screen they're already charting in, while organizations configure exactly who gets that access, and prove it was appropriate.
3. Scheduling & Access: Measuring the Front Door to Care
In our 2026 Product Vision, we committed to better visibility into availability, utilization, and capacity. Q1 delivered the Provider Utilization Dashboard; Q2 closed the loop on the other side of the scheduling funnel, appointment requests.
✅ Appointment Request Metrics Dashboard
A dedicated dashboard now measures how efficiently appointment requests are being handled: track time from requested appointment to scheduled appointment, monitor closure rates, and identify exactly where requests stall, all in one view, with no manual exports required.
Pairing this with Q1's Provider Utilization Dashboard gives organization leaders a full-funnel view: how requests convert into bookings, and how booked time translates into actual provider utilization.
4. Billing & Revenue Cycle: Less Manual Work, Fewer Errors
In 2026, we committed to building toward a more unified, end-to-end billing infrastructure. Q2 reduced manual intervention at two points in the billing workflow: at intake, and at claim status tracking, while giving organizations more say over how their own billing rules apply.
✅ Patient-Level Billing Type for Accurate, Automatic Billing
A persistent billing type, Insurance or Self-Pay, can now be configured directly within each patient's profile. This setting overrides global Appointment Type defaults automatically, so the right billing workflow fires at every appointment without manual intervention from the team.
✅ Insurance Form Updates for Self-Pay Patients
The Insurance Form now opens by asking patients whether they have insurance. Selecting “I don't use insurance” automatically hides all insurance-specific fields, so self-pay patients move through onboarding without friction or irrelevant steps.
✅ Automatic Claim Status Updates from Claim.MD Rejections
Claim status now updates automatically when Claim.MD reports a rejection, removing a manual reconciliation step and keeping claim records current without staff intervention.
These changes shrink the gap between how a patient actually pays and how the system bills them, fewer misrouted claims, less manual cleanup, and less time spent reconciling status by hand.
5. Platform, Security & Mobile: Operating at Scale
As more organizations run multiple brands, locations, or care lines on a single Healthie account, the platform's underlying flexibility matters as much as any individual feature.
✅ Centralized Password & Security Page
Providers now manage authentication settings from a single, centralized Password & Security page, building on Q1's migration to a new authentication platform with passkeys and breach detection.
✅ Diagnosis List Module with Multi-Diagnosis Support
A new Diagnosis List Module supports tracking multiple diagnoses per patient in a structured, dedicated view.
✅ Task Comments on Mobile and Video Uploads in Chat
Task commenting, introduced on web in Q1, is now available on mobile, and providers can share video directly within chat conversations, keeping more of the day-to-day workflow available wherever care happens.
Each of these is a smaller lift on its own, but together they reflect the same theme as the Quick Profile and metrics work above: reducing the number of times a provider has to leave their primary workflow, on whatever device, in whatever org structure their organization runs, to get something done.
What's Coming Next
Q2 extended this year's themes: AI documentation that adapts to real workflows, dashboards that turn raw activity into operational insight, and fewer manual steps across billing and charting.
Building on that momentum, here are some callouts planned on our H2 roadmap.
✦ AI Scribe–Generated Task Drafts
Scribe will be able to generate draft tasks directly from session content, extending AI documentation from notes into the task workflows that follow a session. Beta targeted for July, with general availability by the end of September.

Enabling Proactive, Preventative, Longitudinal Healthcare — Together
Since Day 1, Healthie has built to support a different vision of healthcare: proactive, personalized, longitudinal care that prevents chronic disease, enables better outcomes, and empowers patients to be at the center of their care through long-term relationships with their providers.
Ambient Scribe's expansion to in-person and phone sessions means that vision of continuous, well-documented care no longer depends on the format of the visit. The Appointment Request Metrics Dashboard gives organizations the visibility to fix access bottlenecks before they become missed care. And Patient Restrictions, like the billing-type and Quick Profile configurations above, reflect a broader pattern in how we're building: giving each organization the controls to run Healthie the way their care model actually works, rather than asking them to adapt to ours.
