Google Health Connect
Pulls activity, sleep, and body metrics from a client's Google Health Connect account into their Healthie Journal automatically, once the relevant metrics are enabled for that client. Clients connect once from the Integrations tab and their data appears tagged "Google Health Connect," with no manual entry required.

The problem it solves
Android clients generate rich activity, sleep, and body metric data in Google Health Connect that has no path into their care record without manual reporting. Without this sync, providers miss objective data between visits and have to rely on clients to self-report metrics inconsistently.
What's included
- Automatic pull of steps, weight, sleep, and body fat percentage from Google Health Connect
- Additional activity types: walking, running, cycling, swimming, and meditation/mindfulness minutes
- Waist circumference and food/meal tracking data (where available)
- Per-client, per-metric sync controls set from the client's Settings > Metrics tab
- Journal entries tagged "Google Health Connect" to distinguish synced data from manual entries
How it works
Enable Google Health Connect globally, by group, or for an individual client from Settings. Once enabled, the client connects their own account by logging into Healthie (web or mobile), navigating to Integrations, and selecting Connect with Google Health Connect. For any metric to actually sync, the provider must also enable it under that client's profile: Actions > Settings > Metrics. Once both the account connection and the metric toggle are on, data flows from the client's Google Health Connect into their Healthie Journal, tagged "Google Health Connect" to distinguish it from manually entered data.
Google Health Connect integration pulls activity and health metrics, including steps, weight, sleep, and body fat percentage, from a client's Google Health Connect account into their Healthie Journal automatically. It's built for providers working with Android clients, and it requires the provider to enable the specific metrics they want tracked in that client's settings before data will sync. Clients connect their own account once from the Integrations tab in Healthie, after which synced entries appear in their Journal tagged "Google Health Connect." The sync is one-way — data flows from Google Health Connect into Healthie only, and Healthie-entered data never pushes back to the client's Google Health Connect account.
