Forms Completion Tag Update & Follow-Up Task

When a patient tagged 'canceled-for-forms' completes their required forms, automatically update their tags and create an intake follow-up task for the care team.

The problem it solves

Patients who were put on hold pending form completion require a manual re-engagement step once forms are submitted. Without automation, patients fall through the cracks between their form submission and their intake appointment.

What's included

  • Automatic check when a "canceled-for-forms" tagged client completes required forms
  • "canceled-for-forms" tag removed, "will-call" tag added
  • Intake follow-up task created for the care team

How it works

Trigger

Required forms completed

Logic

Client tagged canceled-for-forms

Action

Update tags, create task

Forms Completion Tag Update & Follow-Up Task re-engages a patient automatically once they complete forms that had put their intake on hold. It's built for behavioral health practices managing a "canceled-for-forms" hold status, and requires Healthie Forms and Automate. Once a tagged client finishes their required forms, the automation removes the "canceled-for-forms" tag, adds a "will-call" tag, and creates an intake follow-up task for the care team. This is currently a Healthie-managed pilot automation, built and maintained by Healthie's engineering team rather than self-configured.
