(b)(10) Electronic Health Information Export
Generate a complete, ONC-compliant export of a client's — or your entire patient population's — electronic health information on demand. The export packages CSVs, PDFs, and a Documents folder into a single compressed file per patient. Restricted to admins and available any time without developer assistance.

The problem it solves
Organizations subject to ONC certification requirements need a way to produce a complete, compliant export of a patient's electronic health information without manually compiling it across separate systems. This export automates that compilation into a single, self-service action instead of requiring an admin to assemble records from charting, documents, and billing separately.
What's included
- Self-service, on-demand export of a single patient's designated record set
- Patient population export covering the full account
- Per-patient CSV and PDF output covering the designated record set
- Documents folder output that preserves each patient's original folder structure
- Admin-only permissions restricting who can initiate an export
How it works
An administrator with the correct permissions initiates a single-patient EHI export directly from Healthie; population-level exports are handled by Healthie's support team due to the server resources involved. The export compiles the patient's designated record set — chart notes, documents, and journal entries — into CSV and PDF files. For a population export, the output is a zip file containing one directory per patient, named by patient name and unique identifier, with the same structure as the individual export. Each patient folder includes a Documents subfolder mirroring that patient's original folder structure in Healthie, along with an HTML page linking to a public description of the export format.
The (b)(10) Electronic Health Information Export lets administrators generate a complete export of a client's designated record set, including chart data, documents, and journal entries, on demand and without developer assistance. It's built for organizations that need to fulfill ONC-certified EHI export requirements for an individual patient or their full patient population. Single-patient exports are fully self-service and can be run by any authorized administrator at any time; population-level exports are routed through Healthie's support team given the server resources involved. Each export produces a compressed zip file containing per-patient CSVs, PDFs, and a Documents folder matching the patient's original folder structure.
