Customizable Inactivity Logout Timeout

Lets customers set their own inactivity logout timeout instead of Healthie's standard 60-minute default.

Built by Core Engineering

The problem it solves

Organizations with their own security or compliance policies around session inactivity need to set a logout timeout that matches their requirements, but Healthie's standard inactivity logout is fixed at 60 minutes and can't be adjusted through the UI.

What's included

  • Custom inactivity logout timeout, configurable in minutes
  • Backend-configured by Healthie support on request — not self-serve
  • Available only to Semi and Full Web White-Label accounts
  • Defaults to Healthie's standard 60 minutes if not customized

How it works

The timeout is stored as an inactivity_minutes_timeout field on the account's Whitelabel Setting (default 60 minutes). Healthie's support team configures this value on the backend on request. Once set, the custom timeout is loaded into the browser alongside the account's other white-label settings and used in place of the default inactivity timer.

Customizable Inactivity Logout Timeout lets Semi and Full Web White-Label customers set their own auto-logout timeout, instead of using Healthie's standard 60-minute default. It's built for organizations with their own security policies around session inactivity. The setting isn't self-serve — Healthie's support team enables and configures the timeout value on the account's backend on request. This is not available to non-white-label accounts, which use Healthie's fixed 60-minute inactivity logout.
