July's releases are a clear expression of that commitment, focused on documentation infrastructure: how notes connect to the work around them, how group sessions get closed with the right level of accountability, and how content gets distributed across large, complex organizations.

Documentation That Reflects How Care Actually Gets Charted

Chart notes and appointments have always been linked in Healthie, but that link wasn't always easy to manage. Chart Note Linking and Unlinking from Appointments gives providers full self-serve control over that relationship. Links, re-links, and unlinks happen directly inside the charting interface. The linked appointment appears in the chart note header alongside Date of Service and Time of Service. Critically, appointment linkage can be edited on signed and locked notes without reverting their status, which removes a friction point that has historically required admin intervention. Group Charting Built for Billing and Clinical Accountability

Group documentation has its own demands: capturing what happened in the room while still producing a record that's accurate at the individual client level. Two updates shipped this month address that directly. Group notes now support per-client Attended status, Join/Leave Time, and Diagnosis fields, so the note reflects what actually happened for each person in the session. Separately, org owners can now require a completed individual note per client before a group session can be signed or locked, with clear error messaging identifying exactly who still needs documentation. Both features are org-level settings, enabled on request.

Folder Sharing That Scales

Building a shared document repository, for onboarding materials, clinical protocols, or client-facing resources, is a different challenge at 500 clients than it is at 50,000. Folder sharing has been rebuilt with a new side-sheet interface, server-side search, and background processing for large share operations. The UI stays fast and responsive regardless of org size, and all existing sharing configurations are preserved automatically. This is infrastructure work, not a feature addition, but it's the kind of update that matters a lot to organizations at scale.

July's Release Notes include a handful of updates worth noting beyond the spotlights.

• Org members joining Zoom group appointments via Healthie are now automatically promoted to co-host, giving them full meeting controls without any manual Zoom configuration.
• If a Google Calendar sync stops working, a new one-click Reconnect button appears directly in calendar settings.
• Two new API webhook events now fire when a patient joins or leaves the video call waiting room, enabling real-time provider notifications or event logging for API and white-label partners.

Each of these updates does something similar: it removes a step that previously required workaround, manual intervention, or a support request. That's the version of "operational efficiency" that actually changes how teams work day to day. It's also consistent with where the 2026 roadmap is pointed. Q2 built dashboards for utilization and appointment request metrics, expanded Ambient Scribe to in-person care, and put more billing automation on autopilot. July continued that work at the level of documentation infrastructure.
