The problem it solves
Tasks are where follow-ups, referrals, and care coordination live, but the main task list shows individual items rather than how the team is performing against them. Managers cannot easily see overdue volume, average completion time, or whether auto-generated tasks are being closed, so bottlenecks surface only after a client is affected.
What's included
- By Task tab: open, overdue, and undated tasks, average days overdue, tasks created and completed, and average days to completion
- Trended task creation and completion by week, month, or quarter, plus completed tasks by source and priority
- By Provider tab: overdue tasks by provider and priority, tasks due in the next 30 days, and percent completed by assigned provider
- Filters for task creation date, provider, priority, creation source (auto-generated or manual), and overdue status
- Task Detail raw data table exportable to CSV, XLSX, or JSON
How it works
Navigate to Visualize and select Task Completion, then set a creation date range and choose providers. The By Task tab summarizes volume, overdue status, and completion timing across the organization. The By Provider tab breaks the same measures down per team member, including the percent of tasks completed by the provider they were assigned to. The Task Detail tab lists the underlying tasks for the active filters and supports download. Data refreshes daily. Organization members need to be an org admin or have the "Can generate organization reports" permission to view the dashboard, and parent organizations can log into a sub-organization to see that sub-org's data.
Task Completion Dashboard is a Visualize report that shows how tasks are created, assigned, and completed across an organization. It is built for practice managers and care coordination leads who need visibility into overdue work and team capacity without pulling task lists provider by provider. The dashboard is organized into By Task, By Provider, and Task Detail tabs, with filters for time period, creation date, provider, priority, creation source, and overdue status.
