The problem it solves
Billing and AR teams have no reliable way to track reimbursement at the service-line level. COB position is ambiguous, ERA payments can't be traced to specific lines, and consolidated AR reporting across payers requires manual reconciliation outside Healthie.
How it works
Rebuilds the claim and reimbursement data model to anchor all financial records to individual service lines rather than the claim as a whole. Each claim submission carries explicit payer identity and COB position (primary/secondary/tertiary). ERA payments are written at the line level, enabling granular tracking of what was paid, adjusted, written off, or outstanding per line item. Supports all clearinghouses with graceful downgrade for those without line-level ERA support.
